General introductions of the team. Come ready to share on three topics:
1) Background/salvation 2) Fun Fact about yourself 3) Ministry Favorites
o An overview of the schedule for the week. (What is happening and when.)
o Teaching assignments, and a general look at the curriculum.
o Discuss what documentation/ shots/ tests you will need to go to the host country.

Campinas Meeting #2 Required
o General discussion of Foreign to Familiar led by Lisa Brock.
o Brian Pate will cover the following things:
A brief student profile- a general idea of what the ladies that you will be teaching are like.
Cultural norms that the team should know about being in the host country (i.e., greetings, clothing, food, the do’s and don'ts).
A list of prayer requests from the field to be praying before we go, and recommendations for preparation for ministry there.

Campinas Meeting #3 Required
o Discuss the Pre-Trip devotional.
o Discuss the Packing list and Travel Tips.
o Discuss the Budget Sheet and money accounting.
o Discuss the Trip Follow-Up Form to keep in mind while you are there for the week. We will ask you to send these in within two weeks after your return home.
o Verify everyone has their teaching assignment and materials for the trip.
o Prayer time for the trip.
Requirements
Prerequisites
- Background check
- Applicant must have a valid passport that does not expire 6 months before the end of the trip date
Responsibilities
- Teaching RTIM women's Module 01 curriculum as assigned
Restrictions
- applicants must be 18 years of age or older
Preparation
- All applicants must read Foreign to Familiar by Sarah Lanier and attend three pre-trip orientation meetings
