Jacareacanga, Brazil January 2024

This training site is a strategic opportunity to raise up and equip pastors and leaders in a region where there is absolutely no access to training. The student body would be made up of two groups of people: Brazilians from Jacareacanga and surrounding communities, and members of the Munduruku people group. The Munduruku have a number of believers as a result of the work of some Swiss missionaries. However, there are currently zero trained leaders among the Munduruku. It is expected that teams will have the opportunity to train 25-30 potential leaders. The training will take place in a Baptist church in the town of Jacareacanga. Training sessions will be translated into Portuguese.
