I am grateful for the privilege to have traveled to Campinas, Brazil for a third time. I have been able to watch, firsthand, the women go from hearing an overview of Scripture to now applying God’s principles and commands in their lives. It was a special opportunity to be a part of watching God at work in this newly established congregation.

The final module we taught this trip focused on being a woman of God’s word, actively sharing it with others through evangelism and in discipleship relationships. One lady shared how encouraged she was after hearing our lessons. She told me she knew the theory but was tremendously helped by the practical tools we gave. She expressed her new excitement to boldly share the gospel with co-workers and be intentional about living out the One-Another commands of Scripture. Several women were stirred to begin discipleship relationships with other woman in their church.

Through the different modules they learned how to face their fears with God’s truth, take initiative, and reach out to care for and minister God’s Word to others. One woman said, “My need to read the Bible entirely has only increased since I’ve attended these trainings.” The Spirit of God has truly been at work to change lives and excite these women to know God’s Word more. At the end of our time, we parted praising God for the great things He has done and trusting His power to continue to conform them more and more into His image.
