Southeast Asia Site 1

WHEN
Aug 7 2023 - Aug 20 2023
This area has a population of over 2 million people, most of whom are native to the country. Local culture reflects Buddhism as the primary influence; however, the Buddhism there is unique to this country, as it is an amalgamation of Hinduism, Buddhism, and Animism.

This training project in Eastern Southeast Asia offers an opportunity to train women from multiple local churches, to equip them in their understanding of the Bible, so that they can be effective disciple-makers in their family, church, and community. Many of these women teach Sunday School in their local churches and are participating in the training as part of a network that seeks to provide sound theological training for this group. While some evangelical churches are present in the area, many women lack basic biblical literacy and are eager to receive this training. Teams will be working with Reaching & Teaching women’s ministry staff at this strategic site.
